In late 2020, I myself lost my home but was lucky enough to have a safe place to relocate myself and my small family. It is largely understandable not all of us might have somebody, and it is why we have provided resources on home shelters/programs open to young teens/adults. If you are not an individual suffering from homelessness, we encourage you all to give out the canned foods you don't use to your local donation bins, or backpacks, and more. All these resources may be of great use to someone and we should all be mindful when throwing away certain items or consider giving items such as:

-
New Socks
-
Snacks
-
Hygiene Kits (deodorant, bandaids & more)
-
Hats, Gloves, & Scarves
-
Backpacks
-
Great-Good Condition Shoes
-
Unused Gift Cards
-
Great-Good Condition Water Bottles
-
Sunscreen
-
& more.
We also encourage individuals to donate to organizations made to help the homeless & those in need. Here are some organizations/Websites fighting hard to end homelessness in California that you may donate items/money to :
-
Redwood Empire FoodBank
-
& more
