As minorities or students going through complicated times, we understand college is a very stressful topic. In order to ease the difficulties, we've provided scholarships targeting different minorities and students in general. We have also provided the sites we use for further individual research. We advocate these sites for their safety and aid. Scholarships are a beneficial way to fight off future debt and provide academic/personal relief. A student can begin applying as soon as entering high school.
Recommendations:
For many scholarships, individuals will be needed to construct and deliver a small essay based upon the prompt requested. Secondly, many scholarships will also request you to provide a high school transcript. This will most likely mean it's essential to contact your school counselor/principal. A high school transcript is a document including your grades, GPA, and classes from your 4 years of high school (Or the ones you have completed). Lastly, some may also request you provide letters of recommendation. This indicates that it is desired you contact a trusted adult such as a teacher, work partner/boss to express your qualities and overall qualification in their opinion for the scholarship or program. We have created a template you may copy and paste to use for emails/documents to provide you with an idea of how to approach acquiring a LOR.
